April 4, 1957

Second annual joint meeting of the historical societies of Wayne, Johnston and 
Sampson counties will be held in Goldsboro on Sunday, April 7. One group is already
working on a minature reproduction of the ancient village of Everittsville in Wayne
County. This long has been a deserted village. The Junior Historians have rebuilt 
their miniature through use of a map of the old town and photographs of homes and 
buildings which once stood in the village.
