"Louisa Hatch started today to school at Everetsville, near Mr Wests".

Note: Perhaps this school is the one referred to in the following deed that may 
have preceeded the Female Academy:

Wayne County Register of Deeds
23 Jul 1847

John W. S. T. West & David B. Everitt deeded four acres to the Trustees of 
Everittsville Female Academy, Lot 7, Academy Square. "The deed was intended to 
convey any house or houses besides the one now used as an Academy except that 
the interest of the school may require an enlargement of the present building".
