May 14th, 1863
I hereby certify that Jordan Williams of the County of Wayne and State of 
North Carolina, who was discharged the 16th day of December, 1862, from 
Company "G", 55th Regiment of the N.C.G., because of mental incapacity and 
disability having applied for admission into my Company as a private soldier, 
is rejected by me upon the advice of a Surgeon of the P.N.C.G.
