LYTTLE North Carolina Regiment State Of North Carolina Superior Court Of Law Fall Term 1818 GEORGE MITCHEL came into court and made oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God. That he served twelve months ( as a Substitute for BOAZ KETCHUM ) as a Private soldier in the Revolutionary war in the tenth Regiment of the North Carolina Contintental line commanded by COL. LYTLE, and was in a company commanded by CAPT. SAMUEL JONES. That he joined the main army at Pino Pond in South Carolina and was discharged at the High Hills of Ashly River in same state. And this deponeth further states that he is poor and needs the aid of the Government for his support. GEORGE X MITCHEL I EZEKIEL SLOCUMB Chairman of Court by certify the above was sworn to in open court and that GEORGE MITCHEL _____ poor and stands in need of the aid of the Government. E SLOCUMB JOHN DAVIS also maketh oath that person within name GEORGE MITCHEL, did serve twelve months as a Private Soldier in the Revolutionary War and in the line and company as stated in the forgoing affidivate.
