Lytle until 4 Oct 1782 when discharged at High Hill, SC; includes schedule of property; Johnston County Court, 7 Jul 1838, Penny Mitchell, aged 82 years, made application for deceased husband's pension, was married 17 Mar 1782 by Elisha Holland and husband died in Johnston County 3 Sep 1837; Johnston County Court, 1 Jul 1850, Handy Mitchell states he is son of George Mitchell and Penny his wife, he was born 9 Jul 1785 and his parents lived together as man and wife up to George Mitchell's death.
