The government of the School will be parental. The great objective will be to incite the virtuous conduct by an appeal to the moral sense; and by duly cultivating tenderness or conscience. The Academic year will be divided into two sessions, of five months each, with two vacations; two weeks in summer and six in winter. There will be a public examination at the close of each summer session. Students will be charged from the time of entrance. No deduction made for absence, except in case of protracted sickness. Tuition will be reduced to the following rates Primary English branches, per session $7.00 The same including Geography, Grammer, Arithmetic, Composition, &c 10.00 The above including Natural and Moral Philosophy, Astronomy, Botany, History, Logic, Rhetoric, Algebra, Geometry, &c 12.50 French, Drawing and Painting and Ornamental Needle-work, each 5.00 Music, with use of piano 18.00 The Trustees have provided a large and commodious Boarding House, which is kept by Mr. and Mrs. Morisey, persons well qualified to discharge the duties. Board $5.00 per month, one half in advance: Books, Music, Peints, Stationary, Canvass, Creall, &c, furnished to the students at a very small advance upon New York cost. J. C.
