Becton, I shall sell at Public Auction to the highest bidder at the Court House door in Goldsboro on Tuesday the 18th day of November next, between the hours of twelve and four, a tract of land in the Buck Swamp district, in Wayne County, five miles from Dudley's Depot on the W. & W. R. Road being the same whereon said Becton formerly resided and containing fourteen hundred and seventy acres. There are between six and seven hundred acres cleared and is well adapted to the growth of both corn or cotton. The facilities for manuring are excellent and there is a fine range for stock. There are two settlements: the one containing a fine residence in the midst of a beautiful grove, all necessary outhouses, a cotton gin, and a fine peach and apple orchard. The premises will be disposed of privately, if desired, previously to the above named day.
