Yesterday's Storm

There was another thunder storm yesterday just before the dinner hour, which
however was not heavy here. We learn that is was not so considerate at some
points on the W. & W. Railroad. Near Everettsville, between Dudley and the 
Neuse River Bridge, the storm was very severe and an immense amount of hail
fell. Parties on the train say you could scarcely see your hand before you. 
We fear that it has resulted in much injury to the growing crops, fruits, et.

A severe rain storm passed over this section Tuesday afternoon. Hail is reported 
from the Everittsville section.
