Guano Convention, &C

The Executive Committee of the North Carolina State Agricultural Society met. The 
object of the meeting being as stated by the Chairman, to have the Society 
represented in the Convention to be held at Washington City on the 10th of June 
next, for the purpose of taking some decisive steps on the part of those 
interested, for the reduction of the price of Guano.

The following persons were appointed Delegates to said Convention on the part of 
this Society, viz:

Wm. K. Lane, Col. John Everitt and George W. Collier, Wayne
