Important Sale of Real Estate

On Friday the 27th day of December next at the Griswold Hotel in Goldsboro at the 
hour of of 12 M, I shall offer for sale at public auction a valuable plantation 
situated about four miles from Goldsboro on Neuse River adjoining the lands of 
David F. McKinne, William Davis, Needham Jennett and Isaac H. Crow, containing 
about fourteen hundred acres being the same on which Samuel Smith lately resided.

Also

Two acres of land in Everettsville; the said plantation will be sold in lots, or 
in a body, to suit purchasers. For further particulars apply to Samuel Smith at 
Everettsville or to me at my office in Goldsboro.

Terms: Five per cent cash, bonds with approved securities for the balance at six, 
twelve and eighteen months with interest from date and the title retained until 
the purchase money is paid.
