North Carolina Eastern Central Fair

We learn from the Goldsboro Rough Notes that the Wayne County Fair opened on Tuesday
under the most propitious circumstances and that for a first day the show of 
articles and of stock was highly respectable and the attendance large.

At 11 o'clock there was a grand parade of stock, good, bad and indifferent. The 
Notes mentions particularly the cattle exhibited by Messrs. Becton, D. B. Everitt, 
John Everitt, William K. Lane and others.
