J.A. Albritton, 73, Dies at Home of His Daughter
Goldsboro, June 12 – J.A. ALBRITTON, 73, of Calyspo, this county, died Tuesday 
morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Paul NUNN, in Mount Olive, of 
complications existing over a period of several years.

Mr. ALBRITTON was a native of Greene county but had spent most of his maturity 
in Kentucky.  About six years ago he returned to North Carolina and made his 
home in Calypso, but had spent the past few months with his daughter at Mount 
Olive.

He is survived by his wife and daughter. Funeral services were conducted from 
the home of his daughter on Wednesday by Rev. C.V. BROOKS, pastor of the Calypso 
Baptist church, assisted by Rev. E.N. JOHNSON, of Mount Olive and Rev. J.E. 
LANIER, of Wallace. Interment was in the family plot at Calypso.
