Malaria Causes Death of Balree
 Oscar Balree, 56-year-old ERA worker died at his home near Circle filling 
station off highway number 40, about 7 o'clock Wednesday morning following an 
illness of malarial fever which he had suffered for several days.
 Mr. Balree was associated with one of the rural rehabilitation projects.
 He is survived by his wife and three children: Mrs. Bennie Capps of Goldsboro, 
a married daughter; Woodrow and Emmitt Balree, also of Goldsboro.
 Funeral services will be held from the graveside at Dean's cemetery, near 
Belfast, at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. G. C. Joyner, pastor, 
Goldsboro Free Will Baptist church will officiate.
