IDA ESTELLE FLOWER CLIFTON

   Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Estelle Clifton, 79, who died Friday, June 14, 
at 4 p.m. at her home in Branchville after a short illness, were conducted 
Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Purviance Funeral Home in Boykins. Rev. William 
Ferguson, pastor of the Branchville Methodist Church, officiated.

   Mrs. Clifton, a native of Wayne County, N.C., was the widow of Amos L. 
Clifton, and a daughter of the late John Flower and Mrs. Julia Garris Flower.

   Surviving is a nephew, Clifton Taylor of Rocky Mount, N.C.

   Burial was at 2 p.m. in old Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, N.C.
