Death of Mrs. John Everett

Dr. B. F. Arrington and his wife left on the 2 p.m. train yesterday for 
Statesville, having been called thither by information received by telegraph of 
the death of the above lady which occurred that morning at 8:30 o'clock. Mrs. 
Everett was the mother of Mrs. Arrington and was the widow of the late John 
Everett of Goldsboro. She was seventy eight years old and had survived her 
husband ten years.

In Statesville, Oct. 26th, Mrs. Rachel Everitt, widow of the late John Everitt, 
at an advanced age. She was living with her daughter Mrs. Fannie Everitt Walton 
in Statesville. She leaves two other children, Dr. D. E. Everitt of Raleigh and 
Mrs. Dr. B. F. Arrington of Asheville. Her remains were carried to Raleigh for 
interment.
