Rufus L. Edmundson
       Rufus Lester Edmundson, 61, of Rt. 2, Dudley, died Monday in 
Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employee of Kemp Furniture 
Industries. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p. m. from 
the Seymour Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Donald Daughtry 
officiating. Burial will be in the Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery.
       He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Adams Edmundson; two 
daughters, Mrs. Jean Johnson of Garner and Mrs. Nancy Kemp of Hawaii; 
three sons, Lester Edmundson, Jr. of Knightdale, Ronald L. Edmundson 
of Kenly and Todd J. Edmundson of Pikeville; two stepsons, Ed Junior 
Epps and Bobby Ray Tyndall of Goldsboro; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Frances 
Wood of Princeton; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Rhodes of Durham, Mrs. 
Sallie Williams of Dudley, and Mrs. Hattie Hines of Princeton; two 
brothers, Seth Raymond Edmundson of Rosewood and 
Willie Edmundson of Mexico; 10 grandchildren.
       The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the 
funeral home.
