Mount Olive - Ernest J. Pipkin, 86, a retired farmer of Rt. 4, Mount
Olive died Monday. Funeral 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Tyndall Funeral Chapel, 
the Rev. Milton Jordan.

Surviving: his wife, Mrs. Hettie Rose Pipkin; a son, John M. Pipkin;
four daughters, Mrs. Herbert Thigpen and Mrs. Coy Price of Rt. 4,
Mount Olive, Mrs Rose Ginn of Mt. Olive and Mrs. Edward Potts of
Dudley; a brother, Daniel Pipkin of Rt. 2, Mt. Olive; two sisters,
Mary Pipkin of Goldsboro and Mrs. Ida Morgan of Raleigh; 15 grand-
children and 13 great grandchildren. 1970
