Wayne County, NC - Obituary of Minnie F. Ivey ----¤¤¤---- Goldsboro News Argus Aug.20, 1975 Mrs. Minnie F. Ivey Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Fields Ivey, 67, of 608 Simmons St. will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Shumate Funeral Home with the Rev. Reuben Jones officating. Burial will be in the Hodges Chapel Church Cementary near Benson. She died yesterday in Wayne Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, William Lake Ivey; five sons, Thomas A. and John H. Fields of Goldsboro, Elmer and Linwood Earl Fields of Newport News, Va and Walter Fields of Charleston, W. Va.; four daughters, Mrs. Edmond (Vayria) Gurley and Mrs. William H.(Gladys) Edwards of Goldsboro, Mrs. Dan (Judy) Price of Winston-Salem and Mrs. Leslie R. (Myrtie) Hunt of Clayton; one brother, William A Stanley of Rt. 2, LaGrange; four sisters, Mrs Ruth Kearney and Mrs. Hilda Peeples of Goldsboro, Mrs. Julia Tyndall of Rt. 2, LaGrange and Mrs. J. W. Taylor of Rt.1, Dudley; 34 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Leslie Hunt, Dan Price, Frank Hinson, William Gurley, Ray Hunt and Colby Johnson.
