Wayne County, NC - Jeanie G. Cogdell Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanie Grantham Cogdell will be held
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. B. Eugene
Taylor, pastor of Northview Christian Church, officiating. Burial
will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Wife of the late Charlie H. Cogdell of Goldsboro, she died Monday
at N.C. Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. Daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Irvin Grantham of Wayne County, she was a former resident 
of the Rosewood Community and a member of the First Christian
Church of Goldsboro. For the past 18 years, she has resided with 
her son, Newell Conley Cogdell at Chapel Hill.

Surviving, in addition to the son, are three step-daughters, Miss
Lessie Cogdell and Mrs. Richard E. Harris of Raleigh and Mrs. Ovid
B. Lewis of Summit, N.J.; five grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren. 1969
