Kinston Free Press (10 Oct 1905)
Goldsboro, Oct. 9 - -Mr. Henry PARKER, of this city, who only this morning bid his 
young wife good-bye and came on to his home here from Mt. Olive on the noon train, 
is now bowed down with unspeakable grief, for the sad intelligence has just 
arrived that she is no more. She was apparently in her usual health when he left 
her, and was walking in the yard of her parents' home about four miles from Mt. 
Olive, where she had gone on a visit, when she was seen to throw up her hands and 
fell to the ground.  She was brone into the house and medical aid summoned, but 
when he arrived she was dead.
