John Dew, departed this life on Sunday the 8th of February. She died with a triumphant hope in Christ. Her last words were, "My time has come; my days of suffering are nearly ended; I am almost to the Promised Land, and shall soon be at rest, where the wicked cease from troubling, and the weary are at rest." And after expressing herself as to her readiness to meet the monster of death, she fell asleep apparently in the arms of "Him who tempers the wind to the shorn lamb." Age 34 years, 9 months.
