Goldsboro Messenger, Monday Oct 29, 1877

Mr. J.T. Pearson died in Fork Township, Wayne County, NC at 5 o'clock
this morning. Mr. Pearson had served in the Legislature and was for 
many years an active leader in the Republican Party in this county.
