M.A. ROBBINS, BURIED THURSDAY AT NEW HOPE, N.C. Mrs. Martha Ann Robbins, 69, daughter of the late William F.B. and Martha Sawyer, died March 11th at 8 o'clock at the home of her son, Robert Robbins, at New Hope, N.C., following a short illness. She was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church, where funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. Burial was in the family plot near new Hope. Surviving are six sons, J.T. Robbins, of Smithfield, Va.; E.V. Robbins, of Norfolk; J.G. Robins, of Portsmouth; W.T. and M.H. Robbins, of Elizabeth City and R.L. Robbins, of Durant's Neck; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Story of Hertford and Mrs. M.H. Ivey of Portsmouth, and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Isaac Butt, Hervey Butt, Chester Butt, Lucius Butt, Ervin Turner and Steve Perry. Burial was in the family cemetery near New Hope.
