Wayne County, NC - Obituary of Louise G. Rose, 1979 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Goldsboro News Argus Dec. 18, 1979 Mrs. Louise G. Rose Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Gurley Rose, 74, of Rt. 11, Goldsboro will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. from Ebenezer United Methodist Church of which she was a member with the Rev. Victor Murchison officiating. Burial will be in the Princeton City Cemetery. She was the widow of Herman Rose. She is survived by one son, Ronald F. Brodgen of Spartanburg, S. C.; five daughters, Mrs. James (Juanita) Massengill, Mrs. Frasier (Mary) Williams, Mrs. Ray (Helen) Denning, and Mrs. Joyce B. Lewis, all of Goldsboro and Mrs. Carl (Cassie) Newsome of Lucama; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Howell of Durham and Mrs. George Roberts,Sr. of Jacksonville; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Darryl Newsome, Danny Newsome, Jimmy Massengill, Jerry Massengill, Earl Gurley and Billy Gurley. Honorary pallbearers will be Rupert Neal, Edwin Page, Leamon Howell and James A.
