Wayne County, NC - Susan Rose Pipkin, 1955

Mount Olive - Mrs. Susan Pipkin, 70, died Saturday at 9:10 a.m. at 
her home in the Beautancus community of Duplin County near Mount
Olive. 

Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Howard Pipkin, and one son,
Samuel Pipkin, of Mount Olive, Rt. 2; two sisters, Mrs. E.J. Pipkin,
Mount Olive, Rt 4, and Mrs. D.E. McClenny of Goldsboro; and three
grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in 
the Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church and with the Rev. U.A. 
McManus, pastor of the church and the Rev. B.C. Coats, pastor of
the May's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Pipkin
was a member, officiating. Burial will be in the Calypso Cemetery.

Note: Susan was the daughter of the late John Wright and Susan King
Rose, and was born 19 May 1885 in Johnston County and died 24 Sep 1955
in Duplin County.
