Wayne County, NC - Vira Rose Best Obituary

Goldsboro - Mrs. Vira Rose Best, 81, died Tuesday morning at her
home in Grantham Township. She was the daughter of the late George
P. and Nancy Brunt Rose of Grantham, where she spent her entire life.

Surviving are one son, Howard M. Best of Lumberton; two daughters,
Mrs. Russell Wells and Mrs. G.C. Futrelle, both of Goldsboro, Rt. 1;
one sister, Mrs. R.A. Turlington of Wake Forest; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. from Selah Christian
Church, of which she was a lifelong member, with the Rev. W.O. 
Anderson, a former pastor, officiating assisted by the Rev. Gordon
Allen, pastor of Falling Creek Methodist Church. Burial will be in
the family cemetery.
