GLOUCESTER - Eleanor Lee Wade, 67, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, in 
Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. 
She was born in Goldsboro, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Addie Lee 
and Sarah Best Gurley. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and had 
a deep religious faith. She loved sitting at her large bay window watching the 
wildlife around her home.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 49 years, Edward 
Earl Wade; her children, Teresa Wade Howell and her husband, Eddie, of 
Goldsboro, N.C., Edward Dale Wade and his wife, Donna, of Mathews, Va., and 
Benjamin Earl Wade and his wife, Heather, of Mathews, Va.; her brother, Gary 
Thomas Gurley and his wife, Vickie, of Goldsboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Tiffany 
Taylor, Travis Taylor, Little E. Wade, Cindy Wade and Kristen Wade; step-
grandchildren, Chelsey Howell and Justin Howell; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. 
with services starting at 3:30 p.m. in the mausoleum at Windsor Gardens 
Cemetery in Dutton, Va., by the Rev. Maurice A. Carpenter.

Cutshaw Ave., Suite 200, Richmond, VA 23230.
Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
