James M. Wiggs Drops Dead In Field At Home
Sudden Heart Attack Causes Death of Man in Buck Swamp Township

 James M. Wiggs, 68, dropped dead while working in a field on his Buck Swamp 
farm about 8:30 Thursday morning. He suffered an attack of apoplexy.
 Mr. Wiggs, a well known farmer in the Buck Swamp section, had enjoyed good 
health, having been regular at work with his crops the entire summer.
 He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Gardner Wiggs; two daughters, Mrs. Olga 
Stoot and Miss Ava Wiggs, and four sons, Jarvis, Earl, Robert and Lloyd; one 
sister, Mrs. Cora Edgerton; one brother, Charles Wiggs, all of that section.
 Funeral services will be held from the Wiggs' home at 2 o'clock Friday 
afternoon. The pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Nahunta 
cemetery.
