Obituary of Mr. Marshall Williams of Mount Olive, NC, Father of Marshall 
Edward Williams, Rocky Mount, NC, originally of Mount Olive, as appeared in 
the Wilmington Messenger, Mount Olive Stray section, of Wilmington, NC, 
Wednesday, 5 March, 1890.

  Death has visited this section recently and laid its icy hand on several 
persons. Mr. Marshall Williams, who had been afflicted about five years and 
confined to his bed three years at his home near here, died last Saturday (1 
Mar 1890), aged about 35 years. He leaves a widow and 3 small children and 
besides other relatives who mourn his departure.
