James Marsh Hardy

James Marshall HARDY (young and old), b. 19 July 1845 - d. 11 March 1920; 
married Elizabeth Susan SPENCE, the daughter of James Madison SPENCE and Nancy 
GOODMAN of Liddell District, Strabane Township, Lenoir Co., N.C. 

They are both buried in the J. M. SPENCE Cemetery in Liddell. (no dates are 
listed on tombstone of Bettie S. Hardy). Thanks to Sloan Spence Mason for the 
information on this family.

Parents were William Hedrick Hardy and his wife Tempie Virginia Nethercutt.
