Miss Ruth Pipkin to Wed - Will Become the Wife of George Thornton
of Goldsboro Wednesday.

McColl, S.C., Oct. 11 - Cards have been issued announcing the
approaching marriage next Wednesday of Miss Ruth Pipkin of this
place to Mr. George Thornton of Goldsboro. The ceremony will take
place in the First Baptist Church. Prior to the ceremony, Miss
Mary Harrell of the Presbyterian College, Charlotte, will sing
and the wedding march will be played by Miss Sally McNeill of
Wade, N.C.
