Goldsboro Messenger 5 Mar 1885
At the residence of the bride's parents in Sampson County on Thursday the 26th of 
February by the Rev. Mr. Groom of the North Carolina Conference, Marshal Cox, Esq 
of Wayne and Miss Belle Williams of Sampson. The community in which Mr. Cox has 
brought his fair young bride to climb the rugged pathway of life, extend them many 
congratulations, and wish that their shadows may never grow less.
