Wayne County, NC - Will of Theophilus W. Best, 1903 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wayne County North Carolina I, THEOPHILUS W. BEST, being of sound, but desiring to arrange all my worldly affairs, do make and declare the following to be my last will and testament: ITEM 1 I desire all my just debts to be paid out of the first monies coming into my executor's hands. ITEM 2 I give to CHAPIN BEST, my son, my home place, containing about 40 acres. ITEM 3 I give POLLY BEST, my Burwell Ham place, containing about 40 acres and I hereby declare the ditch between her and Chapin to be the line between their lands. ITEM 4 I give all my personal property and all money I may have on hand at my death to Chapin Best. ITEM 5 I hereby appoint said Chapin Best executor of this will.
