Wayne County, NC - Will of Shadrack Boyet, 1807 ~~~~~~~~~~ In the Name of God Amen I SHADRACK BOYET of the County of Wayne and state of North Carolina being sick and weak of Body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God do this Seventh day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Six do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows to wit: IMPREMISE My will and desire is that all my just debts be punctually paid by my Executors hereafter named _____ _______ that after my just debts are paid that my beloved wife MARTHA BOYET have the use of the Residue of my Estate during her Natural life and after her death to be Equally divided between my three daughters Namely MARY, JUDY (?) and ELIZABETH BOYET I having given to PATIENCE (?) SMITH, AVEY SCOTT (?), MARTHA GRIFFIN what I intended also to BURWELL and SHADRACK BOYET my Sons what I intended to give them I nominate and appoint my worthy friend URIAH LANGSTON and my beloved Son BURWELL BOYET Executors of this my Last Will and Testament Ratifying and Confirming this and this only to be my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said SHADRACK BOYET have herein Set my hand & Seal the day and date above written Signed Sealed published pronounced and Declared SHADRACK (X) BOYET Seal by the Testator to be and Contain his last will and Testament in the presence of us who are in the presence of Each other Tal.?
