Wayne County, NC - Will of Thomas Boyte, 1787

In the name of God Amen  I  THOMAS BOYTE of the Province of North
Carolina and County of Wayne  Planter being of perfect mind and memory
make this my Last Will and Testament  first I Desire to be buried in a 
Deasent manner at the Deseration of my executors my temporal Estate 
first  

I give and bequeath to my Beloved Son SHADARACK BOYTE apiece of Land 
begining at a White oak and Down the branch to the ________ to the Line 
and to the beginning

I give & Bequeath to my beloved Son AMOS BOYT a piece of Land Which
was Caled (called) Mitchels Land the Land Which is on the East side of
the s'd  Branch in that tract to him I give and bequeath to my Son
(this sentence is not finished) and I give and bequeath to my Beloved  
Wife her Life time my Estate to maintain Her on and after Her Desease 
my Hole and Sole Estate to my beloved son THOMAS BOYTE

I Constitute and appoint my son THOMAS BOYTE ___  ____ and AMOS BOYTE  
to my Hole and Sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament and I 
do Hereby uterly Revoke Disallow and disanul all former wills and 
Leagices by me heretofore in any wise left or made Declaring and Con-
firming this & no other to be my Last Will and Testament as Witness 
whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 3 Day of September 1786
