This the 14th day of the 2nd month in the year of our lord one thousand eight 
hundred & forty. I Ann Colyar being weakly in body and of a disposed mind do make 
and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and for as follows

Item I give unto my daughter Anna have her choice bed stead and furniture her 
choice chist one dish & two basons sox plaits her choice allso my will is that 
Elizabeth Cammel have one dish & six plates her next choice my will is that my 
two daughters Elizabeth & Anna have my wearing apparrel and now my will is that 
the remainder of my property be sold and the money or notes arising thereupon be 
equally divided amongst all of my children namely, Sarah, John, Elwood, William, 
Naman, Phebe, Othneal, Elizabeth, Zachariah, Anna & James to them and their heirs 
have there parents equal parts & lastly I nominate and appoint William Edgerton 
Cenior executor to my will the date first writen in witness whereof I have set my 
hand fist my seal inter lined before signd

Then was the within will of Ann Colyar produced in open court and offered for 
probate and duly proved by the oath of Nathan Davis a subscribing witness and 
ordered to be recorded at the same time Wm Edgerton executor therein named 
appeared and qualified as executor thereto ordered that letters testamentary 
issue
