State Archives, Wayne County Wills, Inv.'s, Sales of Est.'s, etc, microfilm roll C103.80004, page 224 //Contributor's notes: Most Cook researchers think that this Jacob Cook was a son of Jones Cook, one of the earliest settlers of Wayne who died in 1783. Jacob's family seems to have been star-crossed. Jacob's son John H.Cook predeceased him and Jacob made no provision in his Will for a surviving spouse. Jacob himself died shortly after executing his Will and his sons, William and Henry V. Cook, both died within months of their father's death __________________________________________________________________________ USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
