ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my son Silas Cox the land on Mile Creek which I pu purchased from Nathan Fail supposed to be five hundred acres to him his heirs an and assigns forever ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my son Sanders the land which I purchased at sherriff sale formerly belonging to Bryan Langley lying on the North side of Ne Neuse River supposed to be forty acres also my land lying between the Beaver da dam swamp and white oak branch known by the name of the Abner Cox lands to him hi his heir and assigns forever. ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Peninnah Dees one feather bed and fu furniture ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth all the lands whereon I now live including the land I purchased from H. T. Coor from James Musgrave and James Edgerton. I also give her one Negro boy named Brutus also one Negro girl named Rose two feather beds and furniture one bofet, should my said daughter Elizabeth die before attaining lawful age, or having lawful issue, my will is that the property given to her be equally divided between Silas and Sanders Coxs Coxs children (ic) one half to Silas children the other half to Sanders children – The balance of my property (except my Negro girl Juliann) I direct to be sold and my just debts paid, after which my will is that it be equally divided between my sons, Silas and Sanders and my daughter Elizabeth my will is that my Negro girl Julian be hired out yearly and the money arising from her hire to be paid annually to my daughter Peninnah Dees by my executors so long as s as said Penny Dees lives. My will further is that if Juliann should become so that that she will not hire, then let her be sold and the money arising from the sale sale of her to be equally divided between my sons Silas, Sanders and my daug daughter Elizabeth. Lastly I do nominate constitute and appoint my sons Silas Cox and Sanders Cox ex executors to this my will.
