COX I Lydia P. Cox of the county and state aforesaid being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows: First I give and bequeath to my brother Isaac Parker’s (who is now deceased) children – viz Joseph John Parker, Lydia Jane Brown and Isaac Thomas Parker the sum of one hundred dollars to be equally divided between them to have and hold as their right and property, to be paid by my executor. Second I give and bequeath to my dear brother-in-law, William Cox the sum of one hundred dollars to be his own right and property to be paid by my executor if this is not used during his lifetime, it is then to become the property of his fie, Mary E. M. Cox. Third I give and bequeath to my dear sister-in-law Mary E. M. Cox the sum of one hundred dollars to be paid in money, also my household and kitchen furniture, except one bed which I give to her son, Samuel G. Cox. Fourth I give and bequeath to my five step-children the remainder of my estate to be equally divided between them after the expences of my burial and settling of this will is paid. Fifth and last I do hereby constitute and appoint my step son, Nathan B. Cox my lawful executor to all intents and purposes, to execute this my last Will and Testament according to the my intent and meaning of the same and my part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof, I, the said Lydia P. Cox do hereunto set my hand and seal this the 8th day of November A. D. 1881. Signed sealed and published and Lydia P.
