Item 1st, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife four beds and furniture her choise all the household and kitchen furniture not otherwise disposed of in my will two sows and piggs two cows and calves all the sheep all fowl and poutry all the behives one hors her chois one buggy and harness one side saddle and bridle one cart and its gear and all my farming utensils, my will and desire is that my executors hereinafter named to pay over to my beloved wife one thousand dollars in notes that belong to my estate her chois also my executors shall be require to lay off to my said wife one years provisions, all the above named property I freely give to her and to her heirs forever. Also I lend unto my said wife all the land and plantation whereon I now live with the exception of the piece that I have lately bought of my son Nathan Edgerton called the Thomas Edgerton Junior land during her natural lifetime or widowhood but no longer. ITEM 2nd, I give and bequeath to my son Nathan Edgerton five dollars in addition t addition to what I have all ready given him heretofore. Item 3rd, I give and bequeath to my son Wm Edgerton five dollars in addition to what I have all ready given him heretofore. Item 4th, I give and bequeath to my daughter, Sarah Pearson, five dollars in additi addition to what I have all ready given her heretofore. Item 5th, I give and bequeath to my daughter, Absala Cox and to the heirs of her her body five dollars in addition to what I have all ready given her heretofore. Item 6th, I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Edgerton five dollars in ad addition to what I have all ready given him heretofore. Item 7, I give and bequeath to my grandson Thomas Lillasse the son of my youngest daughter who married Larry Hillasse? a portion of my lands that I now own known as the Thomas Edgerton Junior land being his land that I have lately bought of my son Nathan Edgerton should he the said Thomas Lillasse live to the age of twenty one years, he shall then receive all the ligasy or lyacys given him in my will during his natural life, and should he the said Thomas Lillasse have a bodily heir or heirs given then the said legacys shall decend down to them as he the said Thomas Lillasse shall see fit to dispose of them otherwise should he the said Thomas Lillasse decease before having such bodily heirs as heretofore specified in my will then the said legasy or legasys shall return to my lawful heirs as thereinafter named. Item 10th, my will and desire is the remainder of my property to be sold and the proceeds arising therefrom with my notes and monys if any in hand be taken and therewith pay all my just debts if any with my burial expences. Item 11th, my will and desire is the remainder of my estat if any be eaqually divided between my lawful being that is to say Nathan Edgerton William Edgerton Sarah Pearson the bodily living of Absula Cox and the children of Thomas Edgerton Edgerton junior, Zilpha Hollowell Phebe Edgerton and to my grandson Thomas Lillasse Lillasse to them and their heirs for ever as devised in my will heretofore And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Nathan Edgerton and my son-in-law Lazarus Pearson my lawful executors to all intent and purposes to execut execute this my last Will and Testament according to the true intent and meanin meaning of the same and every and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made, In witness whereof I the said Thomas Edgerton do hereunto set my hand and seal this the 31st d 31st day of sixth month in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty sixty two, and I freely give my executors two and half percent for setting of my estate.
