Item 1st I give and devise to my wife SEALY GARDNER two hundred dollars in money all my household and kitchen furniture except one feather bed and five barrels of seed corn due from Daniel Gardner to her and her heirs for ever. Item 2nd I give and devise to my son WILLIAM T. GARDNER all my land lying on the North side of the road leading from Goldsboro to Bull Head, all my notes on hand, all my stock on hand and one feather bed to him and his heirs for ever and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son WILLIAM T. GARDNER my lawful executor to all interests and purposes to execute this my last will and testament according to the intent and meaning of the same and every part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring entirely void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made. As witness whereof I the said JOSIAH GARDNER do here unto set my hand and seal this the 1st day of June A. D. 1863.
