Wayne County, NC - Will of Charles Hines, 1794 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will of Charles Hines Wayne County 1794 In the name of God Amen. I Charles Hines of the County of Wayne And State of North Carolina Planter being sick and weak of body of sound disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following Imprimis I give to my beloved wife Nancy Hines the plantation whereon I now live in during her natural life and after her death to be divided with the rest of my lands equally between my three sons David, Charles & Joseph to them their heirs and assigns for ever to be equally divided between them three at the discretion of Exect Item I give to my beloved wife Nancy Hines all my working tools of all kinds Item I also give to my beloved wife one third part of my furniture beds pots pewter washing ware of all kinds Item I give to my wife Nancy one Negro wench Nan to her her heirs assigns forever with her increase Item It is my desire and will that my two Nathans? the mother of them to be sold by my Exect and two years credit be given there on Item I lend to my beloved wife all the remainder of my estate that I have not given to her and her case to better enable her to raise my children on until my son David should come to the age of Twenty one then it is my desire that all that part of my estate left be sold by my exec and the money equally divided between my wife Nancy my daughters Rebekah Sarah Easter & Polly Lastly I do appoint my beloved brother Issac Crow Matthew Nathan & William Roberts Jun Exect to this my last will and testament Item It is my will and desire that my exect do make and establish a sufferant right and agreeable to R.
