I do make publish and declare this to be my last WILL and TESTAMENT hereby revoking and making null and void all former Last Will and Testaments and writing in the nature of LAST WILL and TESTAMENT before me made and my will is first that my body should be buried a cordain (according) to the direction of my friends and that my just debts should be paid by my executor herein after named and as to the rest of my estate and property with which God has blessed me and which shall not be required for the payment of my debts and about the Execution of this my will and the administration of my estate, first, I give devise and dispose thereof as follows to wit: First I give to TIPPO H. SASSER my plantation and land where on I now live joining Bennet Combs, Culling Howell and others I all so give the said TIPPO H. SASSER the tract of land that I bout of “Try” LANGSTON where James Worrell lived joining LEWIS PATE, JOHN PATE, and others. I all so give the said TIPPO H. SASSER one yellow negro boy by the name of “Polds”? and negro woman by the name of “Merias”? and three boys by the name of “Rabit”?, Edwin, and Gorge and to receive (their ?) increase from this date; I all so give to the said TIPPO H. SASSER all my stock of horses, cattle and hogs. I give to TIPPO H. SASSER one lot of black smith tools and all my farming tools of every kind; all so I give to the said TIPPO H. SASSER all my feather beds and furniture and all my household and kichin furniture and all my crops of every kind at my death and all my pork or bakin or corn if enny in hand to have and to hold the same to him to be hissen to have and to hold the same his hers executors, administrators and assigns to his and their use and behaf forever. I give to CATHARINE TILTON one negro woman by the name of Diner and also seven hundred dollars in money to have and to hold the same to her and her executors, administrators and to her and their use and to have forever. I give to SINA HOWELL, seven hundred dollars in money to have and to hold the same to her and her executors, administrators and to her and their use and to have forever. I also give to the said TIPPO H. SASSER all my property not named in my Will. And I do nominate and appoint my worthy friend, William Shirard, to be the sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto let my hand and seal the day and year above written this the 3 day of December 1852.
