I John Peacock Sr of the State of north Carolina of Wayne being of sound a perfect mind and memory blessed be God being in a very lo state of helth noing that is is appointed for all men wonst to dy do this 31st day of July in the year of our Lord 1829 Do make and publish this my last will and testament in mannor Following that is to say first I give and bequeath etc unto William Peacock fifty cent. I give unto John Peacock fifty cent. I give unto Etheldred Peacock fifty cent. I give unto my daughter Penelipy Bedl one cow and calf the young cow & calf three head of ____, one puter dish and two puter plats one washing tub one ax and one weding ho one pot and hooks one Loome and Geare one puter half gallon pason (basin?) one tin bucket one chirn I give her half the _ int forder (sic-fodder). I lend unto my beloved wife Elizbeth Peacock all this mentioned propity all my Stock of hogs and all my house hold Goods and kithing furniture but one feather bed and furniture I give that to my wife all so I give my wife one cow and yearling the rest of this propity is lent all my tools of every kind and all my bacon and corn now in hand and all my crops growing and every artickle not given away in the will I give unto my wife all my notes and accounts and all the mony in hand I lend her one cart. I lend her one negro man by the name of Harry and this lent propity her natril lifetime and after her deth I give to my children not mention in the will and I hereby make and ordain my worthy friend Daniel Howell Executor of this my Last will and Testament in witness whare of I the Said John Peacock Sr. have to this my Last will and Testament Set my hand and seal this day and year above written.
