Lancaster of Wayne County State of North Carolina do make and declair this to be my last Will and Testament. 1 First after my just debts are all paide and a suitable tomb stone has been purchased to mark my last resting place in this world I give or bequeath to my daughter Sarah Ellen the wife of Lesley Edmondson a portion of the land I bought of Hiram Ginn and wife, Mary Ginn it beginning with the road leads from the Goldsboro and Snow Hill Road to the Bull Head Road it being on the Slough East side of said road the old original house place of the said Hiram Ginn also a portion of one other track or parsal of land I purchased of Hiram Ginn and w wife known as the Piney Woods track her part will be about 12 ˝ acres to have a and to hold during the turn of her natural life and then to her nearest blood k kin. 2 Second I give or bequeath to my daughter Mit Roberts the widow of Tobe Roberts one half of the land I bought of the said Hiram Ginn and wife it being on the North West side of the road leading down the Goldsboro and Snow Hill Road to the Bull Head Road the half that is to be divided is the cleared land leading from the said road to the grave yard near the Beaver Dam Branch her parte is to keep with said road and then with Hubert Edmondson dedvit?line halfway down the said parsol of cleared land that is mentions above also one half of the ballouce of the said track of land the division line to begin near the grave mark and run to the nw of Beaver Dam Branch also a portion of our other track of land I bought of Hiram Ginn and wife known as the Piney Woods t track her part will be about 12 ˝ acres to her and to hold to her and her heirs a and assigns forever. 3 Third I give or bequeath to my son Patrick L. Lancaster the remainder of the said parsal or track of land that I have described above to my daughter Mit Roberts above of the Hiram Ginn land on the North West side of said road also 5 a acres the remainder of the said Piney Woods track to have and to hold to him a and his heirs and assigns forever. 4 Fourth, I give or bequeath to my daughter Lou Ann the wife of Joshua Smith one track of land I bought of Beauregarde Edmondson and wife to her and to hold d during the turn of her natural life then to her children and to their heirs and a assigns to have and to hold forever. 5 Fifth, I give or bequeath to my son Bryant T. Lancaster my Home Place bought of Munro Lancaster and his wife Kisey Lancaster also a portion of land I inherited on my father’s estate lying between the land I purchased of the said Munro Lancaster and wife and Chestie Farrell and runs with his line Chestie Farrells Farrells to the run of the Slough Swamp then up the Slough Swamp with the run to the Goldsboro and Stantonsburg Road to have and to hold to him and his heirs a and assigns forever. 6 Sixth, I give or bequeath to my daughter Bessie wife of Burrell Edmundson a parcel or track of land I bought of Ed Lancaster and Deams Lancaster also I gi give her $400.00 four hundred dollars in money in order to make her part of my es estate equal to the others of my children that I have given to them in real es estate to have and to hold to her and to her heirs and assigns forever. 7 Seventh, I give to my grandson Lyman Pate $1,000 one thousand dollars in m money. 8 Eighth, I give to my grand children the heirs of my son Rosker Lancaster $1, $1,500.00 fifteen hundred dollars in money to be divided equal between them as the they become of age. 9 Ninth, I give to my daughter Fanny Pearl Teacher the wife of James Teacher $1 $1,500.00 fifteen hundred dollars in money. 10 Tenth, I further declare in this my last Will and Testament if there s should be any other property that I have in whatever it may consist at my death t that has not been describe in this my Will, my Will is that it shall be equally d divided between all of my children. 11 Leventh, I appoint my sons Patrick L. Lancaster and Bryant E. Lancaster, execu Lancaster, executors to my last Will and Testament to execute the same according to its according to its true intent this the 30 day of August 1923. Lancaster, the executors therein mentioned and and the due execution thereon by the said James W. Lancaster is pass by the oath oath and examination of Lillie Pilkington, Jacob C. Sasser and Geo. W.
