                    Will of John Lewis - 1896

                 I, John Lewis, of Wayne County, being of sound mind and 
memory, do make, declare and publish this my last will and testament, in 
manner and form following, to wit:

                   I give, devise and bequeath all of my estate and 
property of every kind and nature whatsoever, ral, personal and mixed, 
unto my son, James Lewis, in fee absolutely, and I appoint my said son 
executor of this will

In witness whereof, I hereunto subscribe my name, this, the 25th day of 
September 1896

Upon the foregoing evidence and proof, it is considered and adjudged 
that the said paper writing, and every part thereof, is the last will 
and testament of John Lewis, senior, deceased.  Let the said will, with 
this probate, be recorded and filed.  This, the 20th day of
April, 1897
