All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Linda Harmon trekkergen@gmail.com July 18, 2015, 8:49 am Source: Raleigh State Archives Written: February 8, 1792 WILL OF JOEL MUSGRAVE The eight day of the 2nd month February one thousand seven hundred and ninety two, I Joel Musgrave of the County of Wayne in the State of North Carolina being in my senses in sound and perfect memory but remembering the mortality of my body do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following: Imprimis I desire my just debts to be paid Then I give to my beloved wife Rebekah my black horse, bridle and saddle, one bed and furniture Then I lend to my beloved wife Rebekah all my lands and personal property during her natural life or widowhood for the support of her and her children Then I give and bequeath to my son William and to his heirs all my lands Then I give to my daughter Elizabeth all my personal property after the marriage or decease of my said wife. Lastly, I nominate constitute and appoint James Edgerton and Caleb Musgrave Executors to this my will in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affix my seal the day and year with written.
