Be it further Remembered that I ARTHUR SMYTH JR. of the County and
State Aforesaid Being very Low and Weak of Body buy Sound of Mind
and Memory do think Fitt to Settle my affairs & Business of Temporal
affairs do make this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form
following first of all, all my just Debts Being paid out of my Estate
ITEM THE FIRST  I give and Bequeath to my Beloved wife LUCRETIA
Three Cows & Calves One Steer One feather Bead and Furniture One 
linnen ? Wheel One Woolen Wheel One Half Duzzon peuter plates Two
Peuter Basons One Case of Knives & Forks Three Ewe One half duz.
Spoons One young mair During her Widowhood One Sow & piggs 
Seven Hundred weight of fat pork Fifteen Barrells of Corn One half my
fodder One Weeding Hoe and One Grubing hoe and _____  ______
One pot One spider One frying pan five gallons of apple Brandy One
bridle and set of plow gear One pair of Cotton Chards & half my Crop
of Cotton One weaving loom and gear Belonging thereto One Chest
One washing Tub one pale One Beggon One Bee Hive One Bread Tray
One meal sifter Half Duz. ____ ____ One side of leather One ____ Iron
One pair of pot hooks One cutter plow hoe One flock hoe one Bible
Two Quart Bottles
ITEM THE SECOND  I give and Bequeath To my son JAMES One Hundred
& fifity Acres of Land lying on the South Side of Hood Swamp
ITEM THE THIRD  I give and Bequeath to my Daughter POLLEY One note 
of Hand of One Hundred and Twenty five Spanish Milled Dollars due
from ELISHA UZZELL SEN. Also Seventy five Spanish Milled Dollars
One Feather Bead and Furniture
That all the rest of my property be Sold and Equally Divided Between
all my Children
Lastly I nominate and appoint my True and Trusty friends and Brothers
JOHN SMYTH  JOSEPH SMYTH  LAZARUS SMYTH To be hole and Sole
Executrix of this my Last Will & Testament
This 24th of August 1796
