Wayne County, NC - Will of John Thompson, 1825

  In  the name of God Amen
  I JOHN THOMPSON of the County of Wayne and State of North
  Carolina Being in a low State of health  But of Sound and perfect
  mind and Memory blessed be God ___  this 13th Day of May in
  the Year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred And twenty
  five do make and Ordain this my last will and testament  
  In manner and form as follows to Wit
  I imp___mise my will and desire is That all my Just Debts be
  punctually paid by my Excutor hereafter named  Secondly I
  give unto my beloved daughter ELIZABETH SAULS ten Shilling
  also I give to my Son JOHN THOMPSON ten Shilling aso (also)
  I give to my beloving wife MARY one horse by the Name of 
  Sorra also two Cowes and Calves  Also all the rest of my 
  property that I have ___  During hir naterl life or widowhood
  and after hir deth or if Shee Shold mary (marry) again to be
  Equally Devided betwen my Son ISAAC and the Child Shee is
  now big with  I anominate and apinte my worthy friend Webb
  Hill and my beloving wife Excutor of this my last will and
  testament  Rattifying and Conferming this and this only to be 
  my last will and testament in witness whereof I the sd (said)
  JOHN THOMPSON have hereunto Set my hand and seal this
  day and date above mentioned assigned Sealed published 
  prononced and deliverd by the testator to be and Contains the
  last will and testament in the presants of each other
