 In the name of God Amen  I JOHN THOMPSON of N. Carolina wayne
 Being in Perfect helth prase God for the same do make this My Last
 Will and Testement as Followeth in premises
 I leave To My Loving wife RACHEL THOMPSON one negro man
 namd Joash (?) And five Cows & Calves & three Beef Cattle and one
 hors known By The name of Frolick and one Bed and Furniture and
 I Lend my Wife my manner plantation Dureing her Widowhood and I
 also Give her twenty Head of hogs & seven head of sheep and all 
 House Hold Furntures I Lend her dureing her Widowhood and all my
 Working tools Dureing her Widowhood

 ITEM  I give to my Loving Son THOS THOMPSON five Shilling Sturling
 ITEM  I give to my Loving Daughter MARY PEACOCK five Shilling Sturling
 ITEM  I give to my Loving Son JOHN THOMPSON one negro Boy Simon
 ITEM  I give to my Loving Son WILLIAM THOMPSON one Hundred and
          twenty Acres of Land whear he Leavs My Son JOHN shall pay My 
          Daughter SARAH twelve pound Also one Negro Boy to My Son
          WILLIAM namd Sam he paying My Daughter MARTHA twelve pound
 ITEM  I give my Loving Son JAMES THOMPSON one Hundred twenty Acres
          of Land Whear he Lives and one negro Boy namd Bob And My 
          plantation Whear I Live after my Wife's Disceas or Widowhood
 ITEM  I give to my Loving Daughter ANN one negro woman namd Denas
          and one Fether Bed and Furniture
 ITEM  I give to my Loving Son ZADOCK THOMPSON one negro Boy namd 
          Pen (?)
 ITEM  I give my Son JETHRO THOMPSON & PETER THOMPSON all my
          Stock of all kinds to Bee Equally Divided Between them Bouth that is
          not given away Before and all my Estate that I have Lent to my wife
          to bee devided Between JETHRO and PETER
 ITEM  I give to My Grand Son ISAAIH THOMPSON two Ginneys ind Gold

 And I leave THOS THOMPSON & JOHN THOMPSON & JAMES THOMPSON
 Exctrs. of this my Last Will and Testement and trustees of my wife and
 Children  In Witness Whear of I have hear Unto Set my hand and Seal
 this 13th day of November in the year of our Lord 1788
